Collecting and preserving pieces of history. It's about the journey...

North Bay Antiques is rooted in 47 years of experience at my family’s business, Frank’s Fisherman, located on historic Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco from 1976 to 2024. During that time, I had the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life—antique dealers, collectors, fishermen, and visitors from around the globe. My travels, especially to the East Coast and abroad, deepened my appreciation for 18th- and 19th-century maritime antiques and scientific instruments, shaping the focus and passion behind North Bay Antiques.

As the physical locale and retail chapter in my life has come to a close, I am excited to take my years of experience, love of history, and, quite frankly, the thrill of the hunt, one step further by creating this website. My collection of maritime antiques, scientific instruments, and other curiosities is for all to enjoy. I consider many of these pieces true works of art, regardless of their makers or origins and should you wish to acquire a piece of history they are all here for sale.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions. We buy and sell and are happy to send and receive pictures for review. I always look forward to sharing stories regardless.
